when i try to download the pack it says error downloading a file for the pack, and the file it lists is the entire modpack, i couldn't find a fix for it, so if there is a solution i am all ears. this is a problem with the already default modpacks in technic, im not trying to load my OWN modpacks, rather i am trying to play what should already be downloaded through the application, eg. tekkit, tekkit classic, hexxt, votz, attack of the b team etc. you know what i mean? Try pressing your windows button and r at the same time, and typing %appdata% in the run box. Back up any data you need in the .technic folder, and delete it. I've been having an issue with technic launcher as it won't launch anything, it will simply load then the program refreshes and nothing happens, minecraft by itself can launch just fine with no problems but technic won't for some reason, I've done just about everything including: Since you almost surely aren't adding anything directly to the modpack.jar file just download the 1.6.4 Forge universal binary and rename it to modpack.jar. Your "Flan" folder does not contain properly formatted weapons packs and has files in RAR format instead of ZIP format. You have what may be a weapons pack (FC Pack v5.rar) in your mods folder. I had the same thing happen to me i fix it by going to my appdata then went to .technic went to settings and used a program to change the file and look for memory and change it to 1 gb then saved the file then went to the game opened the game and done
They will now be downloaded to your .technic folder if they are not present, meaning that you can download and update the launcher without dealing with the large file size.
